It's Caturday!

And it's a special Caturday too because we have a new addition to the family! Last week was terribly sad as we gave the foster kitties back to the shelter after having them for two months. I knew I was going to miss them, but I didn't realize just how much! We spent a week in misery until last Sunday night, my mom and I came to the unanimous decision to adopt Panini.
See, Panini has always been special since we first got her and her sister Truffles at 4 weeks old. She was the runt of the litter and had problems eating, was underweight and came down with a fever at one point. She needed a lot of extra attention and we grew especially close to her because of it. Since her and Truffles grew up without a mother, they are super friendly and really love people, especially us. Panini is a "shoulder cat" and loves to sit on your shoulder, sleep on your chest, and generally be carried around and paid attention to all day.
So we were afraid she wouldn't get the attention she needs at a home where no one knew her personality. It's sad not to be able to take Truffles too, but we already have too many cats and I know Truffles (who is a big strong girl) will do well at any home she gets placed in.
Panini and all of us are super happy now she's back at home!
