Fall Makeup Look #2: Cinnamon and Bronze

This fall look was inspired by Indian corn.  Muted shades of brown, orange, and yellow dominate while still looking subtle and pretty.  The items and steps I used are listed below, with shade descriptions included so you can substitute with colors you may already have to imitate the look.

1. Apply e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer to entire face with a cosmetic sponge.

2. Using a foundation brush, apply Covergirl Clean Makeup Oil-Control in Ivory all over face.

3. Use your ring finger to pat on Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer in Light 2 – 3.5: Ivory to undereye area.

4. With a large powder brush, apply NYC Smooth & Natural Matte Powder Foundation in Urban Light to T-zone.

5. Apply e.l.f. Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara to eyebrows.

6. Line lower waterline with wet n wild Kohl Eyeliner in White.

7. Use your finger to apply NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone from lashline to browbone.

8. Use a flat shader brush to pat NYX Single Eyeshadow in Golden Dune over eyelid.  This is an antique gold shade that is metallic. (According to the NYX website, metallics are defined as “Bold colors with intense shimmer.”)

9. Use a medium crease brush to define the crease with NYX Single Eyeshadow in Volcano.  This is a reddish brown with red and gold shimmer.  (According to the NYX website, a shimmer is defined as “Sparkly eye shadow with soft glittery effect.”)

10. Use a fluffy crease brush to sweep on a highlight with NYX Single Eyeshadow in Champagne.  This is a soft yellow metallic shade.

11. Apply wet n wild Idol Eyes Crème Shadow Pencil in Pixie to inner corner of eyes as a highlight.

12. Line upper lashes with Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eye Pencil in Espresso.

13. Curl lashes.  Apply two light coats of Maybelline the Colossal Volum’ Express in Glam Brown to eyelashes.

14. Use finger to apply and blend NYC Blushable Crème Stick in Mauvin’ Uptown to apples of cheeks.

15. Go over crème blush with Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Soft Sable.

16. Contour cheekbones with Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Golden Pink.

17. Apply Palladio Herbal Tinted Lip Balm in Bronzy Pink.
