March Madness blogger low entry giveaway submission

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

I got permission from Retail Therapy Lounge (who coordinated the hop) to do a low entry listing for those bloggers whose giveaways have under 100 entries as of 3/18. If your giveaway falls in that category, please fill out the following google form and I'll do a March Madness Giveaway Hop low entry list. I will be promoting this list too. Please help other bloggers by retweeting this as well. I'd love to try to help you get more entries.

THIS IS ONLY FOR THOSE PARTICIPATING IN RETAIL THERAPY LOUNGE'S MARCH MADNESS GIVEAWAY HOP. MUST HAVE UNDER 100 ENTRIES.  IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT END DATE THAN THE 3/20 WHEN THE HOP IS OVER THEN IT MUST ONLY HAVE A WEEK OR LESS LEFT ON IT.

Sorry for the big red letters but I'm getting submissions from people that aren't bloggers in the hop and from people that just listed their giveaway and they don't end for a month.

A few low entry giveaways ending soon RT

Wednesday, February 23, 2011

I'm not starting a low entry list or anything. There's a few bloggers I follow that do a very good job at that. As you know I love entering low entry giveaways and that's where I win most of my prizes. There are are a few that are decent prizes that have low entries. So if you want a good shot at winning something check these ones out (no particular order):

1. GLEE make your own candy kit on Thrifty and Frugal
---only 53 entries at this point (including mine) and ends 2/27 (this Sunday)  I've had the opportunity to try these kits and my kids really enjoy them so I enter them when I see them at low entries.

2.  Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil on Precisely Mine  ends 2/27 and has only 51 entries

3.  No Bake Key Lime Cheesecake bar on Precisely Mine ends 2/27 has only 43 entries

4.  3 winners get a case of Wellaby's gluten free snacks in flavors of their choice on Precisely Mine ends 2/27 has only 53 entries

5.  NuNaturals Stevia packs.  This one has 4 winners the get 2 full size products.  Ends 2/28 with only 89 entries right here on my blog.  4 winners, 89 entries...pretty good odds.

6.  Mommy I'm hungry has a three pack of chocolate dessert syrups to giveaway to 3 winners.  Ends 2/24 with only 70 entries (and 3 winners)

7.  Win bath and shower products from ttaio company on Just for you reviews ends 2/24 and has only 6 entries

8. Skoy Clothes on The Curious Case of Mommyhood only 18 entries and ends 2/25

As I find more good ones I'll add it.  I know there's more I entered that i can't think of.  Check my tweets though all.  I'm constantly entering low entry giveaways and tweeting.  @angiewith3

What's your definition of a Low Entry Giveaway?

Sunday, January 30, 2011

I'm a one that actively seeks out low entry giveaways. Almost daily.  It seems that there a many different perceptions of what is considered "low entry".

I seek out low entry giveaways for several reasons:

1.  Good chance of winning

2.  Helps out  fellow bloggers to get more entries into their giveaway

3.  A lot of them are grocery or beauty type items I would normally buy anyway. This has helped take a bite out of our grocery bill which is fantastic.

So my question to you is, What do you consider "low entry"?

My personal definition is a giveaway with less than 100 entries and ending within a week.  There are exceptions if there are several winners. I usually multiply that by the number of winners for the giveaway.  So if there are 2 winners, less than 200 entrants still fit in my definition and so on.   One exception to my rule would be if it's a really big prize with less than 200.  For example, something like a Dyson vacuum with only 200 entries and a week left would be low for that prize, in my opinion.

I don't like it when I see 200+ entries with 1 winner and it's being promoted as low entry.   I also hate to see when there is still 2 weeks left on the giveaway and it's being promoted as low entry. That's just my opinion though.  I know there are many views out there.

That being said, I found a giveaway with low entries today I thought I'd share as an example:

Barefoot in Portland has a giveaway for a GLEE make your own candy kit.  With my entries included there are only 13 entries so far and end 2/4 (less than a week away).  So stop over and enter.
